Polyimide Film Heating Pad

Full name " Polyimide film heating pad " can be applied with back adhesive the same as the material of Kapton of DuPont in USA. The PI film heating pad can be used in extreme circumstances as it has passed the test at -240 ~ 310°C and is widely applied in the electrical appliances ( coping machines, warming boxes, heating devices ) and medical applications.
Common terms : PI film heating pad, Kapton film heating pad, Flexible heating element, Super-conductive flexible PI heating pad and Polyimide film.

  • Installment method : insulation material: retractable belt, heat-resistant cement and #10 pressure-sensitive adhesive.
  • Functions : heating, warming and dehumidifying.
  • Uses : Electrical appliances and medical instruments.
  • Light-weight, 0.1 mm thick.
  • Withstand 3000V test.
  • Flexible. Can be wound and curved with the minimum curve radius about 0.2 mm.
  • Withstand a high temperature up to 200°C continuously for 180,000 hours.
  • The heating pad can be manufactured into any shape and also pierced with holes of any shape in the middle.
  • Any double-sided backing adhesive can be applied to the heated object.
  • The heating pad can designed and divided into multi-zones with different wattages and temperature. ( For example, a heating pad divided into A, B and C zones can be designed with different wattages and temperatures for these three areas respectively. )
  • The heating pad can be installed with temperature control elements such as NTC, temperature sensor, temperature fuse and other such devices.
  • Pass non-toxic and environmental protection certifications.
  • Can be customized into various sizes.
  • Pass the certifications of safety requirements of various countries.
  • Kapton is waterproof with excellent oily dirty and radiation resistant properties, and applicable in vacuum environments.
  • Safe and reliable: Service life exceeds 20 years excepting special applications.
  • Can be mass produced continuously by mechanical equipment with 600,000 m²/month.
